The Honourable Minister of Home Affairs, Clare O’Neil, on 27 April 2023, announced a significant change to Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT). An increase of the minimum salary an employer must pay to bring in a skilled worker temporarily from $53,900 to $70,000 from 1 July 2023.
